Henrik Wils

Founder & CEO, New Horizon Window Cleaning

Henrik's entrepreneurial journey began in Denmark, where he owned and operated a janitorial business before moving to New Mexico in 1997 with his wife, Nancy, and their three sons.

While Nancy pursued her career in real estate, Henrik built his window cleaning business from the ground up, establishing a reputation for quality service, hard work, and lasting relationships throughout the Albuquerque community.

In 2011, Henrik returned to Denmark, where he continued his window cleaning business while earning his degree in social work and eventually beginning a new career.

Nearly a decade later, in 2020, Henrik was visiting and staying with his son Jakob in Albuquerque when the COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly brought the world to a standstill. What was supposed to be a short visit turned into an extended quarantine together, giving Henrik time to reflect on family, life, and what his next chapter might look like. Inspired by the opportunity to be closer to his children and grandchildren, Henrik decided to return to the Land of Enchantment. In 2022, New Horizon Window Cleaning was born, marking a new chapter in Henrik's life and a continuation of the legacy he began building 25 years earlier.

Today, Henrik works alongside his three sons, Ben, Simon, and Jakob, combining decades of experience with a new generation of ideas, ambition, and opportunity. From Denmark to New Mexico, Henrik's story has always been about more than cleaning windows. It's about family, hard work, and building something worth passing don.

Ben Wils

Operations Manager, New Horizon Window Cleaning

As the eldest son of founder Henrik Wils, Ben has been part of the family window cleaning legacy since its earliest days in New Mexico. When Henrik returned to Denmark in 2011, Ben helped keep the family business alive, carrying forward the reputation and relationships his father had spent years building. In June 2026, Ben made the move from Denmark back to New Mexico to reunite with his father and help take New Horizon Window Cleaning into its next chapter.

Today, Ben serves as Henrik's right-hand man, overseeing daily operations and working alongside his father to ensure every job meets the standards their family has upheld for nearly three decades. Beyond window cleaning, Ben has an entrepreneurial spirit of his own. He previously operated a martial arts school and holds a third-degree black belt. Outside of work, he enjoys creating art, staying active, and embracing a healthy, adventurous lifestyle. From preserving the family business in 2011 to helping lead its future in 2026, Ben represents the next generation of the Wils family legacy.

Simon Wils

Window Cleaning Specialist, New Horizon Window Cleaning

As the middle son of founder Henrik Wils, Simon has been part of the family window cleaning legacy since its earliest days in New Mexico. Originally from Denmark, Simon moved to Albuquerque in 1997 at just seven years old, alongside his older brother Ben and the rest of the Wils family. Growing up around the family business, Simon developed a firsthand appreciation for the hard work, attention to detail, and dedication that have defined the Wils family's approach to window cleaning for nearly three decades.

Today, Simon works full-time alongside his father and brothers, helping deliver the quality service and personal attention New Horizon is known for. Outside of work, Simon is both an artist and an athlete, enjoying creative pursuits and an active lifestyle. For Simon, New Horizon is more than a job. It's an opportunity to continue a family tradition that has been part of his life since childhood, while helping build its future alongside the people who started it all.

Jakob Wils

Director of Business Development, New Horizon Window Cleaning

As the youngest son of founder Henrik Wils, Jakob is helping bring a new generation of ideas and opportunities to the family business. In addition to his role at New Horizon, Jakob is a licensed real estate professional working alongside his mother, Nancy Wils, with Living Real Estate. At New Horizon, Jakob oversees marketing and business development, helps lead the commercial window cleaning division, and works alongside Jack to grow the company's sales department

With a background in real estate, Jakob's vision extends beyond simply cleaning windows. He believes in building lasting relationships with homeowners and becoming a trusted resource for their long-term property needs. As part of this commitment, New Horizon offers contracted residential clients complimentary home valuation reports, helping homeowners stay informed about their property's value and the local real estate market.

Through his network of trusted contractors and industry professionals, Jakob also strives to connect homeowners with quality resources for home maintenance, improvements, and repairs, while offering professional real estate guidance whenever the time comes to sell. For Jakob, New Horizon is about more than growing a family business. Jack Tierney

Director of Sales & Client Relations, New Horizon Window Cleaning

Sometimes the most meaningful opportunities in life begin with an unexpected conversation. In March 2026, while visiting New York City, Jakob Wils was staying with a friend whose roommate happened to be Jack. After an afternoon walking through Central Park, Jakob returned to the apartment to find Jack sitting on the couch. The two ended up watching a basketball game together, and what began as a casual conversation quickly turned into a discussion about life, goals, dreams, and their ambitions for the future. That one conversation would ultimately change the course of both their lives.

Just six months later, in September 2026, Jack packed up his life in New York and moved across the country to Albuquerque, moving in with the Wils brothers to help build New Horizon Window Cleaning and pursue his real estate license with the Living Real Estate team. Having spent much of his adult life working in sales, Jack brings years of experience in connecting with people, building relationships, and creating opportunities. Today, Jack works alongside Jakob to lead New Horizon's sales department, overseeing customer outreach, client relationships, and business growth while helping ensure every homeowner receives the personal attention and care that define a family-owned business. For Jack, joining New Horizon represents more than a career move. It's an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up, surrounded by people who share his ambition, values, and vision for the future.
